Perception of Democracy among Afro-descendant People in Switzerland

Participate in a Survey on the Perception of Democracy among Afro-descendant People in Switzerland!

You are invited to participate in a study on the perceptions and experiences of Afro-descendant people in Switzerland. This research is being conducted by Daniska Tampise Klebo, under the supervision of Dr. Anita Manatschal at the University of Neuchâtel. The study, funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF), aims to explore how Afro-descendant people perceive democracy and the dynamics that influence their access to rights and democratic institutions.

Why is your participation important?

Your voice and experience are essential for this research. Your contribution will help us better understand the challenges and opportunities faced by Afro-descendant people in Switzerland. It will also provide valuable perspectives to enrich academic debate and guide concrete public policy actions that support their participation and representation in society.

Confidentiality and Survey Duration

The survey is anonymous and will take about 40 minutes. All responses will be treated with strict confidentiality.

Target audience

This survey is addressed to Afro-descendant individuals, meaning people with partial or full ancestry from Sub-Saharan Africa and/or the Arab or transatlantic slave trade. If you are not Afro-descendant, please share this invitation with anyone or any association in your network who might be interested and concerned. Participants must also be 18 years or older. You can access the survey through the following link: Perception of Democracy among Afro-descendant People in Switzerland.
